Patient Checkout Coordinator - Pediatric Dental Office (Part-Time)

We are a busy pediatric dental office seeking a dependable, detail-oriented team member to manage patient checkout and financial coordination.

This position is best suited for someone who is confident working with numbers, comfortable discussing payments with parents, and able to learn systems quickly.

What You’ll Do:

Check patients out and review treatment completed.
Accurately calculate and collect patient balances.
Explain fees, insurance portions, and remaining balances to parents.
Review treatment plans and discuss financial responsibilities.
Verify insurance and assist with claim follow-up.
Make calls on outstanding balances as needed.
Ensure accounts are accurate and up to date.
Learn and use our office software efficiently.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Comfortable with basic math and handling payments confidently.
Quick learner with new systems and technology.
Dependable and consistent - someone who follows through.
Able to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment.
Positive, professional team player.
Dentrix Ascend helpful but not required.

Schedule:

Monday-Wednesday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
Friday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

Additional Details:
This is a part-time position. While we do not offer health insurance, we provide complimentary dental cleanings for employees’ children after 90 days.
